Grand Hyatt (Melbourne)
Lustig & Moar changed the face of Melbourne architecture in 1985 with the launch of the art deco-inspired Grand Hyatt Hotel. For the first time, Australia had a truly international five-star hotel built to world class standards. The ongoing success of the Grand Hyatt Hotel is testimony to Lustig & Moar’s vision and ability to create prestigious developments that stand the test of time.

Concept Blue (Melbourne)
Inspired by Max Moar's love of the Art Deco era, the Concept Blue apartments heralded Lustig & Moar/Macquarie Bank partnership’s first introduction to the residential market. This was an immediate success.

In collaboration with heritage groups and local authorities, they transformed the old Russell Street Police Headquarters into stylish one, two and three bedroom dwellings with unique art deco features. With a striking modern tower rising up from behind the art deco building, and adjoining loft style apartments, this project delivered to Melbourne unrivalled quality and design … a bold move away from the inner city trend towards formula configured apartments.

     Victoria Point (Melbourne)
This landmark Docklands development by The Buchan Group is the sculptural centrepiece of the precinct and has become an urban 'marker' for visitors to the area. The tower's dynamic mix of retail, restaurants, cafes and residential offers has driven the development of the Docklands area and set an inspiring benchmark.

The Wharf at Woolloomooloo (Sydney)
The Buchan Group designed the redevelopment of the heritage-listed Finger Wharf into a stunning waterfront precinct incorporating residential, retail, offices, boardwalks, restaurants, the Blue Hotel, and a 63-berth marina.

The contemporization of the old wharves has seen the precinct grow to become one of Sydney's most vibrant entertainment hubs and a destination point for both locals and tourists alike.

     Park Hyatt (Melbourne)
Melbourne’s most prestigious hotel since opening in 1999, the Park Hyatt has escalated luxury to inspiring new levels. Working in conjunction with The Buchan Group, Lustig & Moar set an inspiring new benchmark in the hospitality and development industries with the pure indulgence of features such as marble floors, timber inlays, rich fabrics and beautifully appointed rooms.

Treasury Gardens Apartments
These apartments were Lustig & Moar’s first project in the residential development market. As part of the Park Hyatt Hotel project, the apartments were introduced to the market in 1998 and received an immediate positive response from the public. They were sold out on the first day of release. Lustig & Moar’s renowned reputation for luxury within the hotel industry was reflected in the design and appointments of these apartments.

The Park Hyatt – Treasury Gardens complex was a unique development in Melbourne, made up of a boutique hotel and the adjoining Treasury Gardens Apartments. The Park Hyatt “6 star” hotel offered the highest level of luxury, service and facilities and this was carried through to the Apartments. The finishes and details were without exception of the highest quality and standard.

Chatswood Chase Shopping Centre (Sydney)
Chatswood Chase, Chatswood NSW. This retail complex of original design was completed in 1983. Comprising a nine level car park for 2,200 cars with three levels of retail space and a total lettable area of 52,000 square metres including David Jones Department Store, K Mart Discount Store, Coles Supermarket and 150 retail shops.

     No. 1 Martin Place (Sydney)
The historic Sydney General Post Office precinct was given a spectacular transformation by The Buchan Group. The project houses the Sydney Westin hotel, an office tower, and a thriving restaurant and retail complex.

The careful blend of old and new was central to the architectural design of the project, with the two modern towers providing a dramatic backdrop to the heritage building. The project has successfully created a refocusing of activity in the Sydney CBD around the Martin Place precinct.
